The Smart Lifestyle Centre, redeveloped from the former Horseshoe Bay Sport and Recreation Club, is an energy efficiency information and interpretive centre for the Solar City project.
The Centre features a range interactive displays and other useful information on how solar power works and why saving electricity is important.
The Smart Lifestyle Centre is also the project office for Ergon Energy staff supporting the Magnetic Island Solar Suburb initiative.
The Smart Lifestyle Centre is located on Horseshoe Bay Road at Horseshoe Bay and is open weekdays, from 9am to 4pm. You can phone the Smart Lifestyle Centre on 07 4758 1674.

Getting there
Magnetic Island is located 8km off the coast of Townsville in tropical north Queensland. Visitors can travel to the island by car or passenger ferry, with daily services departing from the Breakwater Terminal, Sir Leslie Thiess Drive, Townsville.
