Solar cities have also taken shape in Adelaide, Alice Springs, Blacktown, Central Victoria, Moreland and Perth.

The Solar Cities program is managed by the Australian Government’s Department of Climate Change and Energy Efficiency and takes a partnership approach that involves all levels of government, the private sector and the local community.
